Good hairstyles for a funeral?

Do anybody know any good hairstyles for a funeral that i can do by myself? Here is how my hair is:

1. Its BLACK

2. I'm AFRICAN AMERICAN

3. It's come to my SHOULDER LENGTH

4. THICK

~ I really don't like wearing my hair down and it sometimes dont hold curls good.

if you like bangs to the side or part on the side with a simple clip and ponytail..
