something with a balanced ph. doesn't have to be expensive. a shampoo is for the purpose of cleansing the hair. of course you would want to choose products that are formulated for dry hair. caucasians shampoo daily and to remove oil from the hair, we shampoo less frequently and need to add oil and or moisture to the hair. i use a product called Breakthrough it's a SoftSheen Carson product. it's great for chemically treated hair. what is really good is to make sure you use a good moisture sealer like olive oil or something olive oil based to put on your hair after shampoo and before styling. keep it simple. when hair is wet it is at it's weakest state and you should lock in moisture by putting a moisturizer on it at this time. i don't know if you blow dry or air dry, just make sure to lock in the moisture with a good moisturizer. i wish you the best

Any moisturizing CONDITIONER (not shampoo, necessarily) will help, although a moisturizing shampoo can't hurt either. The best moisturizing conditioner for dry hair, hands down, is Olive Oil. Pretty much any brand will do. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and you'll notice a fairly immediate change.

More importantly, you shouldn't wash your hair daily, especially if you already have dry hair. You might want to try washing no more than twice a week, and massaging some oil into your scalp. An olive oil-based moisturizer will make a world of a difference.
