Can i grow out my relaxer and still continue straightening the new growth?

i am trying to grow out my relaxer and it's been 4 months since i last did it. can i still continue to straighten my hair? also, i'm not african american, my curls are tight and frizzy, but it's not a fro and i was just a lazy girl who didn't want to take the time to style it, so i don't braid my hair or anything like that. also, does anyone have any tips if you've already grown it out or are in the process of?

you can, but it's damaging to your hair...straightening your new growth to match your relaxed hair causes stress at the meeting point of the different textures causing breakage

she is absolutly right. the hair does not like to be 2 different textures so the point where the two meet is a weak point and will continue to eb a breaking point until you even out the two textures or just cut off the relaxer. sorry!
