and now its ruined! the lady told me that it would just open up her (my 6 yr old) curls to make it more manageable, but it made it straight and stiff! what can i do about this? I miss her beautiful curls. (my daughter is native american and african american mix) please help if you can...i made a HUGE mistake. I want to cry, I feel so bad about this...My husband is deployed and when he returns in Nov, he wont be happy to see his little girl hair this way. Can this be reversed or repaired without cutting her hair?
I let my beautician talk me into putting a texturizer into her hair.....?
I am very sorry to have to tell you that there is no way to repair or reverse the damage on your daughters hair. The only thing you can do is cut it. What you can do is keep it conditioned and clean until it grows out a bit. After it grow some cut off the damaged hair. I know this is devastating for you %26amp; your daughter....

I'm researching texturizers for my daughters and Soft and beautiful has a help line #, 1*866*730*9101. From what I've read so far they should wear off in about 8-12 weeks. What may have happened is that she combed the hair straight during the actual texturizing faze.
