I am 6 months pregnant and cant wait to see my baby. What do you think she will look like as far as features? I am caucasian, light skin, sandy blonde hair, blue eyes. Baby daddy is african american but is on the lighter skin side, brown hair, brown eyes and 6"7. Be as detailed as you can, not just beautiful please (although i know SHE will be)

Three of my cousins are mixed; two are medium-skinned with typical afro hair, brown eyes, afro-american features, just slightly lighter than their father. One is dark blonde, hazel eyes, light skinned (like a well-tanned Caucasian), with her father's features.

A good friend of mine is tall, blonde, blue-eyed, pale as they come, married to a light-skinned black man with green eyes and dark hair (still very afro-american features).

They have 8 children, and all of them are different! One is even almost as stark-white as the mother. At least two are darker than both mother *and* father (father is the odd one in his family, with the lightest skin, everyone else is medium-toned), looking even more afro-american than dad.

I will make a guess that your little princess is going to get her daddy's skin coloring, light brown hair with afro curl, brown eyes, and is going to be TALL when she grows up. ;) I think she'll have your eyes, but his nose and lips.

A tip to remember down the road-- young ladies of African heritage often begin puberty earlier than Caucasian girls, statistically. Be prepared for signs of development a bit earlier than you might otherwise expect. ;) It doesn't mean she'll definitely be wearing bras in 3rd grade or anything, but it is a possibility....

ohhh gahhh so many diff ways she could look. i mean she can come out blonde headed with blue eyes and the dark kind of skin. one of my friends has a mixed baby and she is BEAUTIFUL..she has curly blonde hair, hazel eyes %26amp; dark skin. she could also come out dark haired, dark eyed, dark skinned. blue-eyed, dark haired, fair skin. there's so many possibilities. how bout this though, i'm 5'4 RED HEADED (lol) completely white, greenish/bluish eyes, my baby's daddy is african american, brown eyes, 5'5, and our baby is a boy..we're both THICK too..haha..wonder wat my child will look like??

Genetics is a tricky thing. However, expect something in between the two extremes. There is no way to know for sure, certain traits may be masked while others come through.

Never know, my cousins baby has a "black" shaped nose. Light skin, black textured curly blond hair. WHo knew .... very beautiful.

Light caramel skin, brown to light brown hair, and probably brown eyes. In genetics, the gene for brown eyes overrides the gene for blue eyes, but you never know! It also depends on the grandparent's eye color. If the grandparents have green eyes, she may have hazel eyes (a mixture of brown, gold and green) I'm brown eyed, but my son inherited his father's blue eyes. My other son inherited my brown eyes.

She will probably also be tall for a woman, maybe around 5'9 or taller. Mixed race children also tend to have softer, more attractive features because of better bloodline (yes it's true, scientists have discovered that mixed races, no matter what races are mixed in, are judged to be more attractive and symmetrical than only one race. Look at Halle Berry.)

my nephew is 1/2 caucasion 1/2 aferican american and he is the moste handsom little man! his skin is the color of coffee with just a little bit of cream...so smooth you could drink him up... big expressive brwon eyes you could drown in and a heart warming smile...his ears are a little big but they give him a distinct charter. i am shur your little girl will be perfict.

No one will know in advance. He or she may look just like you, or he or she may have eyes like his great grandfather on his father's side. Just know that your child will be beautiful in your eyes as well as God's. Aside from concentrating on how your baby will look, try to become familiar with balancing both cultures evenly for your child's sake. Good luck and congratulations.

:) I think beautiful is a wonderful answer:) However i understand what you are saying... Hopefully she has darker skin and won't burn in the sun that easily... Probably brown eyes and probably dark hair... There are so many factors involved tho... Your genetics aren't just Caucasion i would assume... You probably have someone in your background from another country or something... It will be interesting and More than likely a very very cute baby:)

Well, one thing is for sure..she will be absolutely gorgeous. Black and white couples ironically make the most beautiful babies. My son is mixed and honey he is truly a remarkable looking fella. (I am black/asian - dad is white) congrats!!!!!

i'm asian and my husband is african american. i'm really light skinned, straight light brown hair, brown eyes. husband is dark skinned, dark kinky hair, honey brown eyes. my babies were born with lightskin, light brown kinky hair, and honey brown eyes. hmm.. its almost fifty fifty.. however in your case, i think your husband's genes are more dominant.

Anything is possible. That is a very popular mix everywhere. You see all kinds of things. Some of them look 100% African American (hair, skin, features), and some have light skin with thick hair, some have dark skin with European features. You never know.

Please do not have an expectation on looks. And please don't call her father the "baby daddy" to her face.
