Im just curious. hw long does it take to braid your hair, is it worth it? how long do you leave them in your hair? why dont caucations braid our hair like that. I think its real pretty. Sorry If my question sounds silly, Im just curious.

It depends on the style you choose, but, overall, it takes WAY too long, but it's worth it. My daughter has enough hair for three people, so braiding just makes it more manageable. The woman who braids it does a really beautiful job. She works very fast, but it still takes her just over 5 hours. We usually leave her hair braided for 8 weeks or so. You just have to wash the hair a little differently than if it wasn't braided and make sure the scalp doesn't get too dry. Before it's braided again, I make sure I use a good conditioner on her hair.

I see Caucasian people with braids from time to time. I think the styles look really beautiful too. I think every race and culture has beauty.

it take usually 4-8hours on some occasions. Yes it's worth it. it's costs between $100-200 to get it braided. You can leave it in for 2-3 months. Caucasin hair is very fine and it is hard to braid and twist.

It's not a silly question. It takes as long as your hair is and the person doing the braiding. You can leave them in for a couple of months or longer. It's up to you.

but in specifically to ur question conrows take like 20 minutes to an hour or more depending on size and whose doing it, but box braids can take anywhere from 3 to 10 hours also depending on size and whose doing it

but the end result is nice..but i personally dont do the whole braids thing..it can do some serious damage to your hair if you have them in for a long time.

It takes a long time. It is a pain in the azz. It is very expensive. And it has to be redone every few weeks. It does look nice, but it's quite a hassle.

aww, thanks...i used to braid my hair before i permed it...sometimes 20 minutes but if it looks REAL good, an hour...ugh!...but it's worth it, i don't see how this sounds racist, thanks...oh i used to leave 'em in for a week...

it takes my mom a long time to braid my hair i like an hour cuz my hair iz long and its get tangled alot...and its worth it or i'll be looking like a hoodlem....lol u can leave them in for about a week or so if it get fuzzy u will have to take it down and rebraid it again....some caucations braid hair like this...tis tis tis tis tis curious is fine silly ur not...

Braiding hair takes some hours, especially if you get a lot of braids. I have occasionally seen Caucasian women braid their hair in cornrows, and it can look pretty cute on them.

If you want to braid your hair, if it's really straight, you might want to put a bead or hair band at the end to keep the braids from unraveling. Also, make sure the braids aren't too tight, or it will hurt your scalp.

You shoud try braids sometime- it can turn out pretty nice!

Bo Derek had her hair in braids in that movie and she's white.

There for a while during the 80's, a lot of white people braided their hair. It does look pretty. I admire some of the black ladies I see with their hair braided.

Well I braid it takes me 7-8 hours to braid my hair my braids are kinda look like my avatar.

I leave my hair in for about 2 weeks then I redo them. I'm never seen outside unless my hair is braided because my hair is Wild and looks like bed hair(because I don't straiten my hair) it's really hard to manage so I keep it in braids so I can get up and go!

I've gotten many complements on my hair as well. :)

Many whites says this looks too black for them. But I think they look good on anyone.

It depends on the length of your hair, what style you want, and whether or not you want to add hair. I've seen alot of white women walking around with braids. I believe it just depends on the person. If it's something you desire and like you should try it. I can only imagine the reason some white women don't get their hand braided is due to the texture of their hair. Alot of people can't hold a braid. It depends on texture. African Americans have tight curly hair so it's able to maintain.

okay I know some are telling you 5 hours . sometimes it takes less I've had mine done within an hour it just depends who doing it. I usually get mine done for free or low cost because I have family or friends do it.
