I don't mean acting white because I dont belive there is such thing. but I mean trying to look caucasian (not clothes, but face and hair, etc) please don't take offense to this but here are examples: Tyra Banks and Byonce they both make their hair as straight as they can physically force it to be, they wear colored contacts, alot of blush before shooting, and get nose jobs, basically anything they can do to get caucasian features that are not naturally found in the black race... its almost like they don't like being who god made them, its disgusting

Even among blacks,there is a tendency to treat people better if they are lighter,or the opposite. It's been a feature of U.S. culture for a long time. Before attributing it to slavery %26amp; the aftermath,I would be curious as to whether the same pattern is observed in African nations. I don't believe so.

Probably because for all their lives and longer, white people have been held out as the role model--movies, TV, commercials. Ethnic women have been recogized for only the past few years in these industries.

We can't make any generalization about any given race based on Hollywood because we all know they are above the norm and act like it as well. It appears to me that if your observation is correct, then it needs to be said that our white brothers and sisters are the same way. I.E. tanning to get that all so bronze look year round, botox for the lips, butt, and the list could go on and on. Things we ought to keep our minds on are Heavenward yet that tends to take a back seat. May God Bless U.
