Dandruff Dandruff everywhere!!!!?

I have dandruff everywhere!!! after i get my hair washed like a couple days later my hair is itching again! i am african american and i was told i couldnt wash my hair everyday because my hair will dry out and my hairis already dry. what should i do? also i am considering use redken smooth down shampoo and redken all soft conditioner. will these products help me with some of my problems? pleaz help i need some serious feedback!!

Head and shoulders rarely works for most African Americans and only for a short time if it does work at all.

I had dandruff so bad, that my scalp formed sores. What helped me was a medicated shampoo that you can buy off the shelf without prescription. I washed my hair with it about every 2 weeks and immediately saw results. My dandruff went away and so did my sores.

After the sores and dandruff went away, I was able to return to regular shampoos, but to help the dryness, I would deep condition my hair, and lightly grease the scalp. I don't like heavy grease because it seems to weigh down my hair, but olive oil for hair as well as hair polisher are light enough, and really work to keep hair moisterized.

Do not fall for fancy anti-dandruff shampoos. They are known to aggravate the problem.

Apply lemon juice to your scalp half hour before you shampoo.

(Also do not use coconut oil as it dries the scalp out.)

This will definitely help.

i have dandruff bad sometimes, use head n shoulders, or any strong dandruff shampoo, this will help. If it still persists see your Dr. and they can prescribe a prescription dandruff shampoo
